Arkansas running back Raheim “Rocket” Sanders is entering the transfer portal.

The 6-foot-2, 238-pound running back will have one year of eligibility remaining.

Sanders sent a statement to On3 in which he thanked coaches, fans and teammates.

“After much prayer and reflection, it’s time for me to move on to the next chapter in my life,” he wrote in part. “In order for me to reach further goals, it’s best for me to enter my name in the transfer portal with one year of remaining eligibility.”

Injuries kept him out of six games this year for the Hogs. He finished with just 209 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

In 2022, however, he rushed for 1,443 yards and 10 touchdowns to go with 28 receptions for 271 yards and two more scores. His 1,443 rushing yards are the fourth-most by a Razorback all time and ranked second in the SEC and 13th nationally.
